Apprenticeships 2021

It’s great to see you. Thanks for your interest.

We expect you’d like to know a bit more about why you should click the “apply” button.

If you answer yes to the questions below then we think you would love to work at the Office for National Statistics, joining them on their Apprenticeship programme.

  • Do you want to achieve a nationally recognised qualification (Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship whilst still earning money? (quite a lot of money – £19,134 per year if you work full time)
  • Do you want to learn new skills?
  • Do you want to have training and development that will give you the skills to achieve a permanent job at ONS or other organisations after the apprenticeship?
  • Do you want to work somewhere that recognises excellent work and offers cash/voucher awards on top of your salary?
  • Do you want to work somewhere with onsite restaurants, coffee shops and a gym?

These are just a few of the things that we think makes the ONS a great place to work.

If you’re self – motivated, eager to learn and develop and enjoy being part of a team then this role would really suit you. So, whether you’re right at the start of your career or looking to do something different, this is a great opportunity.  What’s more, the recruitment process is really simple!

The link will take you to a short application form and as long as you meet some basic eligibility criteria, we will invite you to take an untimed on-line assessment which will look at how your values and behaviours match ours at ONS. Finally, if you’re successful, we’ll invite you to an interview – probably via Microsoft Teams.

Please be aware that any offer that is made will be subject to your right to work in the UK and also your eligibility for apprenticeship funding which we will check based on the qualifications you have already achieved.

Closing date is 26th May so don’t delay!

Please note this is a 2 year fixed term appointment.

We really hope you’ll apply but if you still have questions, please email us at [email protected]
